FULL VIDEO!!
Hollywood is one of those rare gems and a true UNICORN! Hollywood will go anywhere and do anything you ask of him. My two year old can easily handle him even loading and unloading (in the video) and neck rein him through water and out in the open country. He was also the first horse that he ever rode completely by himself and he can stop and turn him all on his own which is very exciting for a 2 year old! Hollywood is just such a saint!! There is absolutely nothing complicated about him and he loves people, especially the kiddos!! Hollywood is great to ride out on his own or with a group and is always willing and happy to go new places. He is quiet and well mannered in all situations but is not lazy and will move out with ease for someone that wants a bit of a step up. Hollywood would be great for long trail rides, checking fences/cattle, and you’ll never have to worry about the kids or grandma getting hurt while out alone with him. He has also done some working cow horse, roping, and a ton of trail riding and toting little ones. He stands still to mount, will go over, under, or through anything. Traffic and loud noises don’t phase him in the least and he will carry a flag, tarp, or anything else you can strap to him with confidence. I have taken midnight rides in 20 degrees to find a horse that didn’t come up with the others during a major temperature drop. He is just always the steady eddy go to for whatever needs to be done or a break from the intensity of riding performance colts. I had gotten him in hopes of getting him running barrels and poles for a youth rider but that’s just not his thing and I never try to make one do something it doesn’t want to. That being said, he will happily trot/slot lope through. Hollywood is sweet as can be and always wants to be with his person. He is used to being bathed and pampered and you can scrub him head to hoof with him ground tied. I just really can’t fault him!! Be sure to watch his full video; carry a flag, bridleless, riding on the highway, and LOTS more. These pictures and videos are compiled from the last few months so he does have a pretty thick winter coat in some of it. This horse is going to be somebody’s pride and joy!!
Located in Harper, Texas but shipping can be arranged anywhere at very reasonable rates. We have a great hauler!
I had picked up a rescue horse just days before our first major winter storm and was concerned when he didn’t come up at check. Thankfully, Hollywood was right there and was more than willing to be my taxi around the pasture to look for him.
You never know what you will encounter on a short little trip down the road. Hollywood is always a gentleman and has been there done that. Even in hurricane force winds and in crocs due to a broken foot, he is always the dependable steady eddy.
The saying goes “loud people make quiet horses”… sooo then what does a toddler with endless amounts of toys and energy make? Hollywood!
Hollywood is just as good on the ground as he is under saddle. He will stand all day until asked to do otherwise even with all kinds of craziness going on around him.
